Pinterest Challenge: Week Two - Diy Pom Pom Coasters

You guys! I'm so sorry I spaced last weeks challenge. Last week I went to visit family & friends & by the time I got home, it was already Friday & I forgot about the challenge. I'm still completing the 6 week challenge & I'm sharing with you last weeks "forgotten" challenge & this weeks (separate posts). Seriously you guys, I think we should all do the Pinterest challenge every week! That way my board of diy love that I so badly want to try will actually get done, who's with me?!

I can't believe how easy these were to make & when I say easy, I mean, I got them done in no time. I loved the wool felt coasters I found {here} & had to make them. I searched everywhere for wool & couldn't find it anywhere. My back up plan? Pom poms. I don't plan on putting drinks on there that will soak the pom poms but instead I'm going to use them for my coffee mugs. You know, cause it's more important to use coasters for your coffee than regular drinks.

I purchased cork coasters at Walmart & then hot glued the pom poms to the coasters. That's all there is to it, easy peasy right?!

If you are new here & just tuning in to the Pinterest challenge, you can read more about it {here}. If you'd like to be apart of it, you can send me an email at learningcreatingliving@yahoo.com with pictures & a link to your post if you have one & I might possibly feature it during the weeks of the challenge!

Be sure to stop by all the other bloggers who are participating in this challenge & see their progress! You can also see all of our progress on our group pinterest challenge board {here}.

  1. I've totally tried making those wool coasters before and had no luck finding the wool balls, either! Your pom coasters are totally adorable, though!
